 How do I go about finding pre-marital counseling? We’re interested in getting Christian marriage counseling before we tie the knot. So, where do I even start? I tried looking online, but found mostly secular services. So do I just start cold-calling church pastors? Also, what all is involved in pre-marital counseling? How long does it last? There is one premarital counseling that you can go through at www.prepare-enrich.com. There are trained counselors all over the country from many different denominations. Some are clergy others are trained pre-marital counseling. As far as length of the counseling is usually up to the counselor. The prepare-enrich program can be done in as few as 3-5 sessions or as many as 10-12. When I have done pre-marital sessions in the past, most averaged between 3-6 sessions. God Bless and best wishes!
