couples therapist
 I’m thinking about becoming a physical therapist. Can anyone answer a couple of questions? Are there different types of therapists? By that I mean like people that study specifically for adults, kids, handicapped, etc. How many years does it take to graduate? Are physical therapists considered doctors? Hi, im a physical therapy student currently in my 4th year. Yes there are different kinds of PTS, however there is no specific type as we all must undergo the treating of adults, kids, and especially those who are handicapped. Although im not sure if you are able to choose what age group of patient who you should treat but it is a must that you equal EXCELLENT knowledge and abilities in dealing with different kinds of people to answer your 2nd question, it takes 5 years but i dont know if it depends on what country you are from. Here in asia it take 5 years As for PTs being called doctors, they are not. WE can however proceed to become doctors Personal Note: Become a PT, you wont regret it, but we ,most of the time, sweat blood rather than the usual because of it’s difficulty but it’s greatly rewarding.
