Fredda Wasserman is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Certified Thanatologist. She knows that a Woman's Life is a Balancing Act and she specializes in helping women regain balance when they encounter stress and challenges in their health, their career or their relationships.
Fredda's 5 Essential Steps for Regaining Balance are based on her 30 years experience working with those who are living with life-changing illness, facing end-of-life and grieving. Fredda has witnessed how a time of crisis causes people to reorder their priorities and focus on what's really important in their lives. She is committed to helping women experience a similar wake-up call, even when they are not in crisis.
Recognized as a specialist in Guided Imagery, Fredda believes in the mind/body connection and the ability for each person to connect with their inner wisdom, explore their challenges, and find answers within themselves. She has created a series of guided imagery/meditation CDs for relaxation and stress managment.
Fredda received her Master's Degree in Health Education & Health Administration from UCLA School of Public Health and her Master's in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University. She is the Clinical Director of OUR HOUSE, grief support center. In her West Los Angeles psychotherapy practice, Fredda offers individual and group therapy and professional consultation.
